What are we working on right now?

We are currently working on, involved with, or helping to develop a number of projects, and here are some of the highlights. If there is a "Read more..." link at the bottom of a panel then you can click through to find out more details.

Events

The Lacuna Works was a major supporter and motivator behind the first Faversham Film Festival. Our second major event was TLW Lexicon, a literary festival held in east Kent. We provided all the infrastructure, lighting, sound, marketing, etc. for this very successful event.

Rochester Literary Festival

We are pleased to announce that we will be associated with the 2016 Rochester Literature Festival, producing and presenting workshops, training sessions, and performance pieces at various stages throughout the schedule.

  • "Introduction to Screenwriting" lecture by Ben Slythe
  • "Building Worlds" lecture by Graham Guy
  • Chatham Dockyard tour, looking at film locations and the cinematic history of the location

Shakespeare 400

We are currently developing a Shakespearean stage production to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. This will incorporate a number of the Bard's plays in an attempt to open them up to a wider audience.

Short Films

We are in early discussions with two short film production companies for provision of equipment and expertise to help with their filming schedule. These are both experimental / low budget productions, so we are providing everything in exchange for a credit. Details will follow as they can be released.
